Gatineau police are investigating after a man’s body was discovered in an apartment at 193 Fernand-Arvisais St. on Saturday morning.
“It’s a suspicious death,” Lt. Luc Séguin of the Gatineau police said Saturday night. “We have to investigate this matter because it’s not clear what happened over there.”
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, near Maloney Boulevard, at 9:55 a.m. on Saturday after the body had been discovered, Gatineau police said in a news release.
A security perimeter was put in place at the location. Police would be at the scene all night, Séguin said, as the major crime unit continues its investigation.
