The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is teaming up with Ottawa Public Health to offer a pair of information sessions aimed at teaching parents about cannabis.
The first is Thursday, April 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gloucester High School, 2060 Ogilvie Rd.
A second will be held Thursday, May 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Sir Robert Borden High School, 131 Greenbank Rd.
Organizers say the presentation will tackle myths, review how cannabis laws are changing, offer insight on talking to kids about the substance and outline what schools are doing.
We're hosting two public information sessions with Ottawa Public Health @ottawahealth for parents to learn about cannabis and what is known about the upcoming new laws. Join us TOMORROW April 26 at Gloucester HS or May 3rd at Sir Robert Borden HS! https://t.co/nN7ms6gmze #OCDSB pic.twitter.com/MzWBFDQsne
