The cause of a fire on Hwy. 41 that sent a man to the hospital by helicopter in critical condition Friday morning remains under investigation, Killaloe OPP said.
First responders were called to a home on Highway 41 in the Township of Bonnechere Valley at about 6:49 a.m.
The OPP reported that their probe was still in its earliest stages but that the Office of the Fire Marshal had been called in to investigate.
Bonnechere Valley is about 150 kilometres west of Ottawa.
