A 31-year-old Quebec man has been arrested for dangerous driving and uttering threats after he allegedly brandished a power tool at another driver.
The Ottawa detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police arrested the man, from Val-Des-Monts, on Saturday afternoon after reports came in about a motorist driving dangerously on the eastbound Highway 417 near Maitland Avenue.
Police said the driver left the highway before officers arrived, but tips and evidence from multiple witnesses led to the arrest.
