Police seek public's help to identify suspect in store robbery

Ottawa police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man wanted in connection with a convenience store robbery in April.​

According to police, the robbery occurred at a convenience store on April 7 at around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Innes Road and Glen Park Drive in Blackburn Hamlet. A man entered the store, claimed that he was armed, and demanded lottery tickets and cigarettes from the cashier. He then fled.​

There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.​

Police describe the suspect as black, between 23 and 27 years of age. He stands around six feet (183cm) tall with a large build. He was last seen wearing a grey Reebok Athletics hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
