The Canadian Tulip Festival continues in full bloom this weekend at Lansdowne, Dow’s Lake, Commissioner’s Park, the ByWard Market and in various locations along the Rideau Canal. OHS Garden Party

Wednesday, May 16

This event is a delight for the senses, featuring tasting dishes, cocktails, fine wines and craft beer. There will also be an opportunity for guests to bid on live and silent auction items, and a chance to mingle with animal volunteers. All funds raised through this event will support the nearly 10,000 animals that the Ottawa Humane Society cares for each year.



Dave Smith’s Wild West Jamboree

Lasso your western spirit and join us for a wild west extravaganza! All proceeds will go to support Lives in the Balance – our campaign to build an all-new, much-needed youth treatment centre in Ottawa.

Join the Ottawa Pops Orchestra on a magical journey through the Musical World of Harry Potter. This immersive concert and light show features music from all eight movies. This concert is not to be missed by any witch, wizard, or muggle.



PD Day: Trolleys to Transitways

A perfect way to spend the day off from school! Journey through the history of transportation in Nepean from electric streetcars to modern buses. Explore our latest exhibit, City in Motion, through activities and games. We’ll build paper trolley cars, use maps to plan our own trip through town, and more.



Orienteering Ottawa Field Day
Pinhey’s Point Historic Site

Hosted by Orienteering Ottawa, club members will be on site to introduce you to the sport of orienteering. Navigate your way through courses designed with all skill levels in mind from beginner to competitive. This is a unique way to learn a new sport and experience the beautiful grounds at Pinhey’s Point.
