Four paddlers flip canoe in Dow's Lake

Four paddlers who flipped their canoe in Dow’s Lake on Thursday afternoon managed to swim to shore safely and were later treated for hypothermia.

All four had life-jackets on, according to Ottawa Fire Services, which was called to the lake by police.

Paramedics also responded to the man-made lake named after an American landowner.
