One man was arrested in a Friday morning raid at an Elmira Drive residence where police said they found large quantities of illegal drugs and ammunition.
The guns and gangs unit, along with the tactical team and the Direct Action Response Team executed the raid in the 2100 block of Elmira on Friday morning.
Inside the residence, police said they found several bags of 9mm Luger ammunition and one bag of .38 Special hollow point bullets. Police seized two handgun laser sight kits, two high-capacity gun magazines and a “substantial amount” of cash.
Police said they also seized “large quantities” of marijuana, crack cocaine and powdered cocaine.
Joseph Flanagan, 21, is to appear in court in June on drug possession charges, trafficking and possession of proceeds or property obtained by crime.
