Remind us: Is anything happening in Ottawa this weekend?
Anything at all that you might want to stay dry for?
Oh, there’s the Great Glebe Garage Sale and it’s also Ottawa Race Weekend?
Well, that makes this forecast even worse.
Environment Canada is predicting rain and thunderstorms over the next three days.
Friday starts off with some clouds and some rain in the morning.
The high is pegged near 25 C but will feel closer to 30 with the humidity.
The skies might clear up for a bit but don’t let this give you any hope.
A thunderstorm is expected in the area sometime today. Environment Canada believes it could hit anytime today while the Weather Network thinks that front might only move in later this evening.
The bad news is that rain and possibly more thunderstorms are expected all weekend.
The good news is that major amounts of rain are not expected to fall.
The skies might even clear up here and there, giving you a brief moment to sell a lamp or run 5k (or both).
Saturday’s high should be around 21 C while Sunday will be a bit warmer at 23 C.
Lows this weekend shouldn’t dip under 15 C.
Early looks at next week seem positive. The rain should end by Monday and then we’re back to mid-20s and sun, sun, sun.
Have a great weekend.
