The Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend is a major annual event in the city’s core. And while thousands will enjoy both participating in a variety of runs and cheering on the competitors, there will be road closures to consider.

Saturday, May 26

  • Elgin Street between Cooper and Wellington – 1 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Elgin Street between Cooper and Frank – 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Elgin Street between Catherine and Queen Elizabeth Drive – 3:30 to 8:45 p.m.
  • Lisgar Street between Cartier and Elgin – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Full weekend closure

Queen Elizabeth Driveway between Laurier Avenue and Somerset Street West from Saturday at 8 am. to Sunday at 6 p.m. inclusive. This includes the Laurier Avenue East off-ramp and controlled exit and access to the National Arts Centre.
