Funding announcement to spur tourism innovation in the nation’s capital

Mayor Jim Watson and Michael Crockatt, President and CEO of Ottawa Tourism, will participate in a tourism industry Town Hall marking Tourism Week, where they will announce a funding initiative to enhance Ottawa’s success as a destination by encouraging new tourism experiences.

Mayor Watson will be offering remarks to open this Town Hall, which is jointly hosted by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) and Destination Canada.
