The Ottawa Senators organization says it is “relieved that there have been no reports of injury” after Health Canada issued a product recall of a promotional baby onesie that they say posed a choking hazard to children.

“Consumers should immediately stop using the affected onesie,” said the Senators, in a statement. “While the Senators did not manufacture this product, we are working diligently with our partners at Canadian Tire to inform those with the products.”

On Monday, Health Canada issued a recall for the onesie, after it received one report of metal snaps detaching from the item.

The Senators said that the onesies were available in October and November of 2017, and that only around 2,400 — roughly half — of the recalled onesies were distributed.

“The Ottawa Senators have the utmost concern for the health and safety of our fans and consumers,” said the team.
