The City of Ottawa will honour 14 OC Transpo employees at the 28th annual Transecure Awards ceremony to recognize their exemplary actions to help protect the safety of community members. The 2017 Transecure Employee of the Year will be announced at the ceremony that recognizes employees for going above and beyond the call of duty to help residents in need.
Date: June 8, 2018
Time: 10:30 am to noon
Location: Shenkman Arts Centre, 245 Centrum Blvd, Orléans
The ceremony will include presentations from Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Stephen Blais, Chair of the Transit Commission, John Manconi, General Manager of Transportation Services, and Co-Chairs of the Transecure Committee Troy Charter, Director of Transit Operations, and Richard Potvin, Vice-President, ATU Local 279.
