Firefighters received multiple 911 calls Sunday afternoon alerting them to a fire inside a vacant home in Kanata.
Reports of heavy black smoke and flames from an unoccupied home at 1055 Klondike Rd. attracted crews, who quickly arrived on the scene and undertook a defensive attack.

No injuries were reported and a fire investigator has been called in to determine the cause.
