Three pedestrians, two of them children, were hurt Thursday morning when they were struck by a car which appeared to have driven onto the sidewalk St. Laurent Boulevard at McArthur Street.
One youngster was in serious but stable condition with a head injury en route to CHEO at the 10:13 a.m. crash, paramedics said.
A second child suffered minor injuries. A woman in her 40s suffered a head injury.
The injuries weren’t considered life-threatening, paramedics said.
Police tape ringed the crash scene around the red compact car and St. Laurent Boulevard was closed from Donald Street to Cote Street as officers with east-end patrol investigated.
