Add in the humidity factor and some forecasts indicate it will “feel like” 45.
Ottawa awoke to a morning low of just 7 C Tuesday with a forecast high of 25 C under sunny skies and just a smidge of humidity that will make it feel like 26. The UV index is 8 or very high. The low is a comfortable 12 C.
Wednesday should start out with mixed skies then turn cloudy by late morning with a high of 26 C and humidex of 29. There’s a 70 per cent chance of showers and a low of 17 C overnight.
Thursday is cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers during the day and 30 per cent overnight, a high of 26 C and a low of 18 C.
Mixed skies, a high of 32 C and a low of 19 C are forecast for Friday.
Saturday is expected to hit 33 C under a mix of sun and cloud, with the evening low a sultry 23 C.
Sunday is downright sweltering with a mix of sun and cloud, that 36 C high and little relief overnight. There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 23 C.
