A 29-year-old Napanee man is facing a string of gun charges after being arrested for having unpaid tickets.
The man was arrested on Palace Road in Greater Napanee at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday because he was wanted on a provincial offences committal warrant for unpaid fines.
Simultaneously, officers learned that a 911 call had been placed summoning police to a domestic disturbance at an address on Palace Road in Greater Napanee.
The woman who was the victim had fled but awaited police in a safe spot.
The man, who is not being identified to protect her identity, is charged with pointing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, careless use of a firearm, three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
He was scheduled to appear in court in Napanee Thursday.
