Electrician taken to hospital with burns after working on generator

A man in his 30s sustained electrical burns while working on a Riverside Drive generator Friday afternoon.

Ottawa Paramedic Services tweeted that the electrician’s face, hands and a forearm were burned shortly before 3 p.m.

He was taken to The Ottawa Hospital’s burn centre, where he remained in “serious but stable condition,” paramedics said.
