一个朋友，在渥太华住了大概1，2年的时间，因为需要，要办在加拿大的无犯罪证明，现在这个人不在渥太华，谁知道怎么办吗?

I did one in the U.S. while I'm in Ottawa, I sent a letter
to FBI( acturally is SBI--state, not federal)with my personal
info., and they sent none criminal record letter to me in 10days.
they charged me 10 dollars for it.
don't know how to do it in Canada, maybe similar I guess.
