Community support centre opening at Greenboro Community Centre

Beginning today at 3 pm, the City will activate a community support centre at the Greenboro Community Centre, 363 Lorry Greenberg Drive, for residents impacted by the tornado.

Personnel will be on site daily between 9 am and 8 pm to help impacted residents with information regarding:

• ServiceOttawa (3-1-1)
• Red Cross

The City continues to operate two additional community support centres, open daily from 9 am to 8 pm, at the following locations:

• Nepean Sportsplex – 1701 Woodroffe Avenue
• West Carleton Secondary School – 3086 Dunrobin Road

Personnel at these locations offer the following services and information for impacted residents:

• Hydro Ottawa
• Electrical Safety Authority
• Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians
• Red Cross
• Insurance Bureau of Canada
• City of Ottawa
  • Forestry Services
  • Building Code Services
  • Ottawa Public Health
  • Revenue Services

In addition, the Emergency Medical Assistance Team will be at the Nepean Sportsplex to offer psychosocial services.
