Traffic impacts in Ottawa for the coming days – beginning Thursday, October 4

Ottawa – Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:

• Dunning Road: Until Monday, October 15, Dunning Road will be closed for construction between French Hill Road and Innes Road.
  
• Petrie Island: Until Friday, December 28, Petrie Island Bridge will be closed for construction. Access to Petrie Island will be prohibited during construction.
  
• Elgin Street: On Tuesday, October 2, Hydro Ottawa started working along the east side of Elgin Street between Gilmour Street and Gladstone Avenue. On-street parking on both sides of Elgin Street is prohibited within these blocks. The work is expected to take approximately four weeks and is part of a phased approach by Hydro Ottawa to commence the burial of overhead hydro lines.
