OC Transpo, in partnership with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) North and East Ontario, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Ottawa and the City’s Safer Roads Ottawa Program, is offering free bus, O-Train and Para Transpo service on New Year’s Eve from 8 pm until 4 am on January 1. Public transit is the best way to travel to festivities downtown and across the city.
OC Transpo will run a reduced weekday service on New Year’s Eve. Please check the schedule or use the online Travel Planner before you leave.
Para Transpo will operate a holiday schedule on New Year’s Eve. Regular scheduled trips will be automatically cancelled. Book trips by calling 613-244-7272 on or after December 25.
The Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO) in Gatineau is providing free service from midnight on New Year’s Eve until the end of service on New Year’s Day. Visit sto.ca for more information.
