OC Transpo will re-open the Transitway beginning at 7:30pm today. The Transitway has been closed since Friday evening between Dominion and Tunney’s Pasture Stations.
Customers will be able to access bus service on the Transitway platforms at Lincoln Fields, Dominion and Westboro Stations this evening. All westbound service at Westboro Station will use stop 1A.
Temporary bus stops on Scott Street will be closed at 7:30 pm.
OC Transpo Customer Service staff will be on-site to assist customers, and signage has been set up in the area.
Members of the public who wish to leave a memento or memorial item for victims of the collision, are asked to leave items at one of two temporary memorial sites:
The public is asked to gather on the sidewalk on Scott Street in front of the station, should they wish to hold a vigil or other gathering in support of victims.
