The City of Ottawa is participating in Climate Action Week: Exploring Energy Innovation in the Capital, a week of events and activities that takes place February 14 to 23.

Join us for an inspirational talk about our vision of Ottawa as a city powered by clean, renewable energy, and a presentation of our plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 80 per cent by 2050:

See some of the innovative energy conservation initiatives at City facilities:

  • City Hall (110 Laurier Ave West) on Saturday, February 16 at 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm
  • Mary Pitt Centre (100 Constellation Drive) on February 19 at 12 pm and 2 pm
  • Hintonburg Community Centre (1064 Wellington Ave W) on February 21 at 12 pm and 2 pm

Energy Evolution is the City’s strategy to reduce energy consumption through conservation and efficiency and promote renewable energy while growing local economic opportunities in Ottawa. It is a joint effort with dozens of local businesses and organizations to start a community-wide initiative to transform Ottawa into a thriving city powered by clean, renewable energy.
