The City of Ottawa wants your input on the projects, policies, programs and services that affect your daily life. From open houses to workshops and online engagement opportunities, your feedback helps to shape City decisions.

• Monday, June 17
  Albert and Slater Streets Improvement Project – Open House
  Ottawa City Hall, Councillor’s Lounge
  110 Laurier Avenue West
  5 to 8 pm
  Residents are invited to on a planned construction project on Albert and Slater streets. Residents will be able to review design drawings and provided comments to staff.
  
• Tuesday, June 18
  Provence Avenue Area Traffic Management Study – Open House
  François Dupuis Recreation Centre
  2263 Portobello Boulevard
  5 to 7 pm
  Residents are invited to the Provence Avenue Area Traffic Management Study open house, to review alternative solutions to traffic concerns. Residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed traffic calming solutions.
  
• Tuesday, June 18
  Greenfield Avenue, Main Street and Hawthorne Avenue reconstruction project – Public Information Session
  Saint Paul University, MULTI Room
  223 Main Street
  7 to 9 pm
  Residents are invited to a public information session to review planned reconstruction of Greenfield Avenue, Main Street, Hawthorne Avenue and other streets in Old Ottawa East.
  
• Thursday, June 20
  Bank Street in the Glebe: Height and Character Study – Information Session
  Glebe Community Centre
  175 Third Avenue
  7 to 9 pm
  Residents are invited to an information session on a planning study of Bank Street in the Glebe, which includes an update of the planning policy and zoning by-laws to manage future growth.

The following online public engagement opportunities are available:

• Open Ottawa: The City provides free access to data and information through its Open Ottawa data portal. As part of the City’s Smart City 2.0 Strategy, we want to hear your ideas on how to improve the portal and what data sets you would like to see.
  
• Ottawa Rural Economic Development Strategy: The City is developing a Rural Economic Development Strategy and action plan for economic growth in rural Ottawa. Residents are invited to provide their input on how the City can develop economic growth in rural Ottawa and identifying key sites for arts, culture, heritage and tourism.
  
• Rental Accommodations Study: The City is reviewing regulations to address public health and safety, consumer protection, community nuisances and other areas related to private rental properties. Residents are invited to participate in workshops and take surveys about rental housing, student housing and short-term rentals like Airbnb and Flipkey.

The City offers residents a variety of opportunities to engage, share information and collaborate.
