请教关于公民申请等待时间的几个问题

本人递入籍申请表迄今已七个半月了.除了一封已收到申请的信以外,别无其他消息.虽说信上说要八到十个月,但我几位多伦多的朋友半年内就唱歌了.我去年于十月渥太华丢的表,是否渥太华就这么慢呢?有经验的朋友跟个贴吧.谢谢了先.

I thought the capital city could have been faster in the processing time, but seems to me those officers have too many strikes.
