离OTTAWA最近的美国购物好场所

听说美国东北部有个地方，买东西不上税，而且非常便宜。有人还开车去采购，有谁知道这个地方?

New Hampshire州只有烟和酒有税(所谓sin tax),其他东西基本没税.

昨天刚去美国那边溜达了一下，叫watertown,一个小town,2-3小时车程，时间不够，就逛了一个mall，觉得就比ottawa的东西多，还便宜，吃饭不用缴税。

There is an outlet mall on I-90, between Syracuse and Rochester, about 3 hours from Ottawa. It's got almost all the brand name stores: Polo, CK, Nautica, Tommy, Gap, etc.

If you really want to go on a shopping sprea, go to Woodbury, about 100KM north of NYC, 100KM south of Albany, on I-87, about 6 hours from Ottawa. Woodbury is a famous tourist stop, you must plan a FULL day to just roughly go through all the stores that you are interested. Enough said? :smokin:

oh it's about 4 hours, maybe even more. Woodbury is on I-87, huge signs from both directions.

by car:
take the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 16

by bus (from NYC):
take the Gray Line bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd Street & 8th Avenue. The bus leaves at 8:30am, 9:45am, 11:15am, noon every day. It's about $34 round trip.

Although Woodbury is a shopoholic's dream, I'd much prefer this other mall (yeah, I found it!) - Waterloo Premium Outlets between Syracuse and Rochester, because of the bigger savings.

We went to the Waterloo premiums outlets last Sun. It takes us four hours drive, but It is really worth it. We bought lots of stuffs and only cost more than USD100. Good to go...

Timberland and Fila are on great sales right on... It's a good time to go.. But when u back to canada custmous, you'd better do not tell them that you are only on one day trip for shopping, because they are going to charge you 15% tax on everyting you bough.

We paid tax....

哦，出去一天什么也不能申报。能穿能用的就尽量穿尽量用，不能用的也要撕掉标签，扔掉购物袋。不过就是加上税，也应该比咱渥村划算吧？

我觉得Waterloo比Woodbury好，第一不算特别大，所有店一眼都能望见，不用找来找去。另外人也相对少一些。现在（圣诞节后）应该是最好的购物时机。
