A nine-year-old Ottawa girl is looking to check-mate the competition at the World Youth Chess Championship in Greece.
Yuanling Yuan is sitting in second place out of 82 competitors in the girl's under 10 category.
Yuan is one of five Ottawa players representing Canada at the championships.
