ANOTHER LRT LAWSUIT: Two more subcontractors claim $18M from RTG
Two subcontractors are alleging that project delays and negligence on the part of LRT-builder Rideau Transit Group’s construction component led to skyrocketing costs for their own work on the Confederation Line — and they’re taking legal action to pursue more than $18 million they feel they’re owed.
C&M Electric Ltd. and Ziebarth Electrical Contractors Ltd. have both filed statements of claim demanding $5.5 million and $12.7 million, respectively.
