刚才去学校参加了UWO Ivey商学院的“上海办公室”的tele-conference,题目是“Ivey MBA近期毕业生中国就业情况调查”

数字令人吃惊 --- 发出50份问卷，返回37份有效样本。（其中2001--2003毕业生31名，1995---2000毕业生6名），31人的平均起始年收入是人民币40.7万！！全部37人平均起始年薪是45万！
低于20万的只有2人（12万、19万）

现在学MBA，基本属於跟风，等学完了得时候，只剩下20万以下的活了。前两年Hi-Tech火的时候，很多人也这样转去学Computer。

这倒也是, 不过MBA的前期投入远比EE要高, 学生贷款好多都是商业贷款, 要是回报不成比例的话, 估计也没人去念了.

If you count the top 10 business school against Top 10 EE,
hard to say. Most of the founder of high-tech companies are
from EE. But if you are not from the TOP, as a MBA you are
nobody. What MBA taught you? Nothing is valuable except your
connection with your classmates. So if your school is not
the best school, your connections are useless.

BTW, mean here is not as valid as median if used as the
expected income. Since the distribution is heavy tail.
10% rich persons may account for 90% income of the whole
group.
