Kanata foot clinic seeking a medical receptionist to join the team. Hours would be 4 days a week, 10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday (option to work 5 days a week by working Saturdays, same hours).
At Kanata Foot and Orthotics Clinic, the patients always come first. You will be the primary point of contact, greeting our patients and setting the tone for our clinic. We are looking for someone that is friendly, respectful and has great organizational skills. You must work well in a team, but also show some autonomy and problem-solving abilities.
Job Summary:
Your role would consist of:
Customer service: greeting the patients, relaying information about the clinic and our services
Scheduling patient appointments using Patient 7 software (training will be provided
Process payments and deal with patient’s insurance policies
Administrative tasks such as file maintenance, program maintenance, contacting patients and suppliers via telephone/fax/emails
Keeping the clinic clean/presentable/up to standards
Uphold patient confidentiality and our policies and procedures
Provide patients with guidance or support as needed
Required Skills:
Basic computer/fax/printer/telephone skills
Assets:
Experience in customer service, administration and/or reception
Experience with insurance companies, processing payments
Experience with scheduling software such as Patient7
Experience with financial software such as Quickbook
CPR certification
Knowledge in the Chiropody profession
Bilingual (English/Mandarin)
