Should we buy the medical insurance before we get the medicare card? I know that there are some places in Toronto where you can see doctors first and they will charge you later when you get the medicare card. Is there this kind of places in Ottawa?

I haven't heard such place in Ottawa, but I passed the three month smoothly. I know some friend buy some insurance for she's afraid of sick. you can also check it with Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre. (232-3984)
