The driver operated five different buses on several routes during what Ottawa Public Health (OPH) deems the key dates for spreading the infection, which is considered 48 hours prior to the first day someone shows symptoms.
Transit officials say the driver went into self-isolation on March 20 and was tested on March 21.
OC Transpo sent a memo to the City of Ottawa on Tuesday night to confirm the diagnoses.
