A section of Highway 174 westbound will close in between Trim Road and Tenth Line Road to remove overhead signage, weather permitting. The work was scheduled for last weekend but was delayed because of inclement weather. Westbound lane reductions are scheduled to start at 10:30 pm with the closure of all westbound lanes at 11 pm on Saturday, April 4. The closure will be in place until 9 am on Sunday, April 5.
The following detour will be in effect during the closure:
The City of Ottawa is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and is in contact with the constructor about adhering to guidance provided by Ottawa Public Health and the Province of Ontario. Should there be any changes to this work, it will be communicated to the public.

The following detour will be in effect during the closure:
- Exit Highway 174 at Trim Road
- Turn left on Trim Road
- Turn right on St. Joseph Boulevard
- Turn right on Tenth Line Road
- Keep right and follow the Highway 174 westbound on-ramp
