NO to Official Bilingualism .
As mayor, TERRY KILREA will guarantee that Ottawa will not become officially bilingual. Everyone will continue to receive city services in English or French. In a city where 90% of the population speaks English, the numbers simply do not justify the need for Ottawa to be designated officially bilingual. You have TERRY KILREA’S commitment that no one will be denied employment or promotion with the City, if he or she is not bilingual. The current mayor flip-flopped on this issue in the last election and he intends to again. Make no mistake….he will make the City of Ottawa officially bilingual if he is re-elected.
