The City’s Planning Committee today approved zoning amendments to permit new residential communities in Stittsville and Kanata.
In Stittsville, along Hazeldean Road, the Committee approved a zoning change to permit 76 stacked townhouses and 10 back-to-back townhouses.
In Kanata South, on Eagleson Road at the northwest corner of Terry Fox Drive, the Committee approved zoning to add 393 units – a mix of detached homes and townhouses. Also, in Kanata North, the Committee approved zoning for another 47 two-storey townhouses off Old Second Line Road in the Morgan’s Grant neighbourhood.
Recommendations from today’s Planning Committee meeting will go to Council on Wednesday, May 27.
