The Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee today approved Official Plan and zoning amendments to permit a manufacturing facility at 3713 Borrisokane Road.
The Committee also approved a series of commemorative renaming proposals:
The committee received an update on a planned tourism campaign that will encourage residents to explore rural Ottawa. The campaign will align with the reopening of the economy as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Throughout the summer, and potentially extending into the fall, the City would promote rural tourism by providing suggested itineraries and promoting rural cycling routes, encouraging Ottawa residents to get out and explore their city and to support rural businesses.
Recommendations from today’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee meeting will go to Council on Wednesday, June 10.
