Laboratories for Information Technology (LIT) (http://www.lit.org.sg) is a government funded R&D facilities in Singapore. It was formed in 2002 by the merger of Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL) and Center for Signal Processing (CSP). LIT spearheads the R&D of information and networking technology. Collaborating actively with local and overseas universities and industries, it develops and transfers leading-edge intellectual assets and technologies.
The Pervasive System group is conducting research and development on the enabling technology for the pervasive access to the Internet. Current R&D activities include service discovery, mobility management, and home networking. Currently, we are actively expanding into new areas.
We have openings for a few full-time researcher position. The selected candidates will conduct applied R&D which will lead to patents as well as conference and journal publications. Researchers are expected to develop prototypes that demonstrate the practical feasibility of their ideas.
Applicants must have completed Ph.D. in computer engineering, computer science or a closely related field and should have strong interest in computer communications and networking R&D. Fresh Ph.D. graduates are encouraged to apply.
