Gatineau Park is Canada’s Capital Region's conservation park.
It covers 361 square kilometres, and is situated between the Ottawa and Gatineau rivers. Just a few minutes from downtown Ottawa-Gatineau, the Park is also a prime destination for a variety of outdoor activities.
Although it is open year-round, except during closures for severe weather or exceptional events, some of the access roads are sometimes closed to motor vehicles to support recreation in the Park.
