The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:
Airport Parkway – The Airport Parkway will be reduced to a single northbound lane between the eastbound and the westbound ramps at Heron Road from Wednesday, July 15 until the end of July to rehabilitate the Confederation Heights Bridge. Southbound lanes will not be impacted.
Falaise Road – Falaise Road will close between Claymor Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive, daily from 7 am to 7 pm, from Monday, July 13 until early September to replace a watermain, sewers, sidewalks and the road surface. A signed detour will be in place via Normandy Crescent. Access for local residents, cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained.
Greenbank Road – Motorists will note a new traffic pattern along Greenbank Road between Kilbirnie Drive and Barnsdale Road until October. The change is needed to install a sanitary sewer and watermain for a new subdivision. No detour is required, and one lane will be maintained in each direction at all times.
Montreal Road – Montreal Road will be fully closed under Highway 174, including the on-ramps from Montreal Road westbound to Highway 174 westbound and from Montreal Road eastbound to Highway 174 eastbound, nightly, from 10 pm until 5:30 am on the following nights as part of the Stage 2 O-Train East extension:
A signed detour will be in place from Montreal Road westbound to Highway 174 eastbound and from Montreal Road eastbound to Highway 174 westbound. Motorists are advised to follow traffic patterns and signage. A signed detour will also be in place for pedestrians and cyclists.
Pinecrest Creek Pathway – The Pinecrest Creek Pathway under Carling Avenue will close intermittently from Friday, July 10 until Sunday, July 12 to relocate utilities near the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway eastbound on-ramp. A signed detour will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists.
Rideau Road – Rideau Road will close between Hawthorne and Ramsayville roads from Wednesday, July 15 until the end of August to replace culverts. A signed detour will be in place for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists connecting Rideau and Ramsayville roads via Bank Street and Mitch Owens Road. Local access will be maintained.
Thomas A. Dolan Parkway – Thomas A. Dolan Parkway will be closed between Stonecrest and Carp roads until August to replace culverts. A signed detour will be in place for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists connecting Stonecrest and Carp roads via Kinburn Side Road. Local access will be maintained.
