Three persons of interest sought in Richmond Road homicide police believe was targeted

A 23-year-old man was shot dead inside his second-floor apartment on Richmond Road early Friday morning in what police believe was an ambush execution.
Ottawa police responded to a 911 call reporting a man without vital signs at 2881 Richmond Rd. around 12:10 a.m.
When they arrived, they found Jonathan Wite, 23, dead. Two other individuals were located inside the apartment.
Police believe the shooting was targeted and that intruders confronted Wite at his apartment, forced their way into the unit, shot him and then fled.
Friday evening, police released photos showing showing three “persons of interest” in relation to the killing. The photos show two men and a woman and police are asking the public’s help in identifying and locating the three.
