Are Chinese not afraid when they see stories about being silenced for being too outspoken against the CCP?

It’s like working for a big company. If you are annoyed at the CEO, then it’s fine to work within the company, and if you want to talk about what an idiot the CEO is to your coworkers, nothing bad will happen to you.

If you start putting up signs saying that the CEO should resign or leading a campaign to oust the CEO, you’ll get into trouble pretty quickly.

Part of the message of the CCP is that if you are really annoyed with the system and have a criticism then just work with them to fix the problem, and that the people that are screaming loudly are just making a big show and aren’t really interested in fixing problems.

I’ve found that Chinese politicians and officials are quite interested in feedback, and that they will listen very closely about your complaints and criticisms of the government. It’s only when you start doing protests, that you run into problems, but I’m more interested in fixing problems than making a show.
