The process for 2020
In 2020, the interest to sponsor form will be open from noon EDT on October 13, 2020 until noon EST on November 3, 2020. We remove duplicates and keep only the last submission. We then randomly select and invite potential sponsors to apply.

This year, we’ll send enough invitations to make sure we can reach the annual cap.

大家都有意见，可谁也没拿出成熟的好办法。多年前从邮局寄，地域差异不公平。2019年网上抢名额，对计算机不能熟练操作的人，或受网络限制的人，也骂得要死。有人建议打分，可按什么排名次，按收入，按sponsor入籍时间长短，还是按父母年纪，都不合适。

抽签还是相对公平些，上次填表很多网速慢的，电脑差的，手脚不灵活的基本都吃亏了。所以我后来估计大概率还是抽签
