Capital International Academy is seeking a creative, highly motivated Web Designer to work on our online learning platform.


We maintain and develop our platform in WordPress and Joomla. The ideal candidate must have a good working knowledge of both and be willing to learn. Strong front-end skills would be extremely valuable.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced digital agency or marketing environment
• Strong, proven knowledge of digital technologies including:
• HTML/CSS (including frameworks for responsive design)
• Javascript/jQuery for front-end development
• Open Source technologies (LAMP Stack)
• Extensive experience with the Joomla CMS and Wordpress CMS
• Responsive web development techniques
• the git version control system

Assets

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Joomla and Wordpress CMS experience

Position

• Part-time
• $25-$30/hours, 20 hours/week
