City to honour local writers

The 2020 Ottawa Book Awards recipients will be announced in a special virtual ceremony this evening. Mayor Jim Watson will present the awards in the categories of English fiction, English non-fiction, and French fiction. The Archibald Lampman Award for Poetry and Prix AAOF de littérature jeunesse 2020 from the Association des auteures et auteurs de l’Ontario français will also be presented.
