Mayor Jim Watson will be joined by Marie-France Lalonde, the Member of Parliament for Orléans, representing the Government of Canada, and Jeremy Roberts, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services, and MPP for Ottawa West-Nepean, representing the Government of Ontario, for a milestone event in the construction of the Stage 2 Confederation Line East Extension.

Location: Highway 174 / Montreal Road Interchange (decommissioned Highway 174 eastbound Montreal Road off-ramp)
Parking: Parking is available southeast of the Highway 174 eastbound Montreal Road off-ramp. Exit Highway 174 Eastbound at Montreal Road. Turn right onto St. Joseph Boulevard and immediately turn right again to access the event site. (map)

To attend in person: This event is for registered media only. Media wishing to register should contact medias@ottawa.ca by Friday at 10 am. Please note that media spaces may be limited due to restrictions to crowd sizes. Media Relations will confirm registration with media outlets.
