I had been badly intrigued by my computer "Keyboard Lock" issue.
Recently when I turn on my computer. The boot can't go on, it stoped and said:
"Trend ChipAwayVirus(R) on Guard
Key Board Error or no keyboard present
Keyboard is locked out---Unlock the key"
My main board is ASUS P3BF with i440BX chip set. Before this error happened, I met with some disk problem that sometimes the PC is hang up and I have to reset. In the recent reset, the PC was hanged up at BIOS setup.
My keyboard was verified fine by working fine with other PC.
I also tried to lower down my BUS/PCI speed, the result is the same.
I didn't find any keyboard lock set pins on the the main board.
I don't know what may cause this dam keyboard lock. Your advice is highly apprecaited.
