Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Friday, January 22

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Queen Elizabeth Driveway – The section of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway between Somerset Avenue and Fifth Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 5 pm beginning Saturday, January 23 to create more outdoor space for exercise.
• Airport Parkway – The following Airport Parkway ramps will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The northbound on-ramp from eastbound and westbound Hunt Club Road will close from 2 am until 5 am on Wednesday, January 27.
  • The southbound on-ramp from westbound Hunt Club Road will close from 2 am until 5 am on Wednesday, January 27.
  • The southbound off-ramp to eastbound Hunt Club Road will close from 2 am until 5 am on Wednesday, January 27.
• Hunt Club Road – The westbound lanes of Hunt Club Road will close between Dazé Street and the Airport Parkway from 2 am until 5 am on Wednesday, January 27. Traffic will be diverted into the eastbound lanes.
• Redwood Avenue – Redwood Avenue will close between Richmond Road and Byron Avenue from Monday, January 25 until the end of April for Stage 2 LRT work.
• Byron Avenue – Sections of Byron Avenue between Sherbourne Road and Redwood Avenue, and between New Orchard and Ancaster avenues remain closed until the end of March for Stage 2 LRT work.
