I just watched one of the most amazing movies in our time! Amores Perros (roughly translated to Love's Bitch) tells a story of love, loyalty, compassion, despair and even hope. This movie touched me so deeply that until this moment I'm still in shock.
Set in the crowded Mexico City, the center of the plot involves a tragic car accident, and from there on, three tales gradually unfold, and are interwoven. Each character was uniquely played, and I still can't get the image of the old man El Chivo, played by Emilio Echevarría, gazing at the sky out of my mind, it was simply superb acting!
Excellence couldn't even begin to describe this film. A masterpiece, period. If anyone is interested, I have the DVD.
