Eastbound and westbound lane reductions on Montreal Road under the Highway 174 overpass are starting April 8 for Stage 2 East LRT Extension work.
The north side vehicular lanes on Montreal Road under the Highway 417 overpass will close for work starting early morning on Thursday, April 8. The south side will be repurposed to accommodate one lane of traffic in each direction. The lane reduction will remain in place until mid-July. The south side multi-use path along Montreal Road will remain open for all uses, while the north side will be closed. Pedestrian detour signage will be in place to direct pedestrians and cyclists to the south side of Montreal Road.
